- System Builders and Resellers, who provide services for Microsoft software ("Participant"), are eligible to participate in the Microsoft Office Small Business Medialess License Kit (“Office MLK”) and Microsoft Office Professional Medialess License Kit (“Office MLK”) Service Rebate ("Program").
- Employees of Microsoft Corporation, their affiliated companies, advertising agencies, gift suppliers or other representatives, or members of the respective immediate families of such employees and anyone with whom such employees are domiciled are ineligible to participate in the offer.
- Eligibility Requirements.
- This Program only includes the Microsoft Office Small Business Medialess License Kit, and Microsoft Office Professional Medialess License Kit (each referred to as "MLK").
- A Participant must provide both of the following items to be eligible for this Program.
- Participant must provide, via the methods set forth below, five Certificate of Authenticity (COA) numbers from five MLK’s. The five MLK’s may have been sold to from one to five customers. The COA number is located on the sticker affixed to the back of the MLK, and is in the following format: 00000-000-000-000.
- For each group of five MLK COA’s submitted, the Participant must provide, via a unique customer invoice, proof of the Microsoft Office related services delivered, and the amount invoiced for those services.
- For each Office related service the Participant provides to a customer that begins and is completed between April 1, 2008 and June 30, 2008, and subject to the limitations and other terms set forth below, Participant may be eligible to receive a fifty dollar ($50.00) USD rebate.
- For each rebate requested by a Participant, up to a maximum of 50, the Participant must register at the program website at www.officemlkoffer.com and upload a copy of a unique, end user customer invoice that clearly shows the Office related services that were provided between April 1, 2008 and June 30, 2008, and five valid MLK COA numbers.
- All submissions of proof: COA’s and proof of services must be submitted and received before 12:00 am EST on July 31, 2008.
- The end user customer invoice submitted by a Participant must clearly describe the Office MLK related services provided to the end user customer, the amounts invoiced, and Participant’s company information. Services could include, but are not limited to: data transfer, training, system integration, user migration, backup, and security setup.
- The rebate is only offered when services are provided, and is not an MLK discount or rebate. If a Participant invoices an end user customer for services at less than $50, the rebate will be reduced to the invoiced amount unless the invoice clearly identifies any service discounts provided to reflect the rebate offer.
- This Program is limited to 50 services rebates for each Participant and its affiliates. “Affiliate” means any legal entity that owns, is owned by, or that is under common ownership with Participant (ownership means control of more than a 50% interest).
- All submissions become the property of Microsoft and will not be returned.

Each Participant is solely responsible for ensuring that any taxes arising from participation in the rebate program are reported and paid to the appropriate tax authority.
